David Forrest

David Forrest has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role was as an IT Technical Lead (End User Computing) at Circle Health Group since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at BMI Healthcare for a number of years, holding various roles such as IT Technical Lead, Senior Desktop Engineer, and IT Desktop Engineer. At Nationwide Building Society, David worked as a Customer Service Advisor in the Mortgage Underwriting and Completions departments. David also had a short stint at The Scottish Government as a Case Handler for Disclosure Scotland. Earlier in their career, David worked at Kraya Limited as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer and Web Developer, and at Saltire Hospitality as a Senior Barman and Logistics Supervisor. Their work experience also includes a work placement at National Grid Transco as a Systems Administrator and Data Handler.

David Forrest attended The Royal High School from 2000 to 2006. David then pursued a degree in Software Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Glasgow to study Computer Science, Mathematics, and Electrical Engineering, which they completed in 2010. In 2012, David obtained an ITIL Foundation certification from APMG-International.
