Andrea Rojas

Andrea Rojas has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Andrea began their career as an Account Executive at Mindshare in 2013, where they assisted in the development and management of digital communication plans for clients. Andrea then moved on to A&E Television in 2014 as a Media Planner, supporting the sales team and executing strategic media planning for various clients.

In 2015, Andrea joined Chalet Guamuez as a Human Resource Generalist, where they handled recruitment duties, developed training solutions, and partnered with managers on employee relations issues. Andrea then transitioned to working in the field of People Operations, starting as an Operator Success Associate at Managed by Q in 2017. In this role, they oversaw the entire recruitment process and carried out HR responsibilities.

Andrea continued their career in People Operations, joining Managed by Q as a People Operations Manager for different regions, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and New York. Andrea collaborated closely with the Director of People & Culture to support employee relations, engagement, communication, benefits administration, and employment law compliance.

In 2019, Andrea became the Head of People Operations at Runa, where they were responsible for the legal, ethical, and structural organization of employees and teams. Andrea also contributed to the overall strategy and roadmap of the People Organization.

Andrea then moved to Benitago Group in 2021 as the Director of People Operations and later took on the role of Sr. Director of People Operations in 2022.

Most recently, Andrea joined Circle in 2022 as the Head of People Operations.

Andrea Rojas has a diverse educational background. Andrea obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Services from Nova Southeastern University in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they earned an Associates in Arts degree in Advertising from Broward College in 2006-2008. Andrea then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Florida International University from 2008-2010. Furthermore, Andrea also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2011-2012 and obtained an AAS degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications.

In addition to their formal education, Andrea has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they earned the TEFL / TESOL certification from CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. Andrea also obtained the SHRM-CP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in 2016. In 2017, they became a PET/KET Speaking Examiner certified by the Cambridge English Language Assessment. Their certifications also include the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) obtained from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2019.
