Takumi then moved on to AdColony as a Sales Manager for Japan & Korea, overseeing demand and business development. Takumi also served as the Director of Growth for Japan at Media.Monks, where they managed the entire business growth process. In 2021, Takumi became an Advisor at Anzu.io and Senior Manager of Acquisition Marketing at StoneX Group Inc. Takumi previously co-founded and served as the Managing Director of ATLAS English, a professional training company. Presently, Takumi holds the position of Head of Performance Marketing & Business Development at Circles. Additionally, Takumi founded and manages Akitaya.Design, a marketing and business growth consultancy that assists brands and tech companies in Japan.
Takumi Akitaya holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts in Cultural and Creative Studies from Aoyama Gakuin University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications such as a PWC Operator License, Class 1 Yacht Operator License, and The Official Business Skills Test in Bookkeeping, 3rd Grade. Takumi also holds certifications from Google Digital Academy, The Trade Desk, and the Japan Securities Dealers Association, among others. Furthermore, they have achieved the 1st Dan in Kendo and the 3rd Grade in the EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency.
