Lauren Dawson

Lauren Dawson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in various industries. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Circletime since August 2018, Lauren is dedicated to democratizing access to quality early learning and development programs to empower children as future contributors to society. In January 2021, Lauren joined Techstars as a founder of the Techstars Anywhere 2021 program, which focuses on startups designed for a remote-first world. Prior experience includes a tenure at Judlau Contracting, Inc. where Lauren held positions including Head of Business Development and Senior Manager for Controls and Document Management from October 2009 to June 2016, overseeing information and document control processes. Additionally, Lauren worked as a Junior Lobbyist at Patricia Lynch Associates and as a Policy Associate at Empire State Development, contributing to policy development and community outreach initiatives. Educationally, Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Long Island University and a high school diploma from The Ethel Walker School.
