Emily Jones

Emily Jones is a seasoned professional in management consulting and literary translation, currently serving as a Managing Partner at Circus since September 2019, where the focus is on enhancing consumer experiences and organizational purpose. Alongside this role, Emily is a Partner and Principal at Paper Republic, a charity dedicated to promoting interest in Chinese literature in English translation. With extensive experience as a self-employed Chinese-English literary translator and editor, as well as a background in brand consultancy and project management, Emily has also held significant positions at various organizations, including Circus and Lloyd Northover. An alumna of the University of Cambridge with a BA Hons in Oriental Studies (Chinese), Emily has further honed skills through a mentorship at the British Centre for Literary Translation.
