Naomi Levin-Hein has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Naomi is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Cirium, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at UFG Insurance as the AVP of Information Technology, where they modernized technology capabilities and enabled cloud and digital transformation for the organization from 2017 to 2022.
Naomi also held roles at Rockwell Collins, serving as the Manager of eBusiness and later as a Senior IT Project Manager from 2013 to 2017. At Pearson, they worked as a Senior IT Project Manager for Pearson Technology Services and an ePEN Program Manager from 2001 to 2013. Before that, they worked as a Fund Accounting Systems Manager at Barclays Global Investors in 1999 and as a JavaScript/Java Instructor at Golden Gate University from 1999 to 2001.
Their earlier experiences include working as an Internet Systems Manager at Tasq Technology Inc in 1998, a Lead Software Developer at HP from 1997 to 1998, a Software Developer IV at NCS from 1996 to 1997, and a Programmer/Multimedia Developer at the University of Iowa - Office of Consultation and Research in Medical Education from 1994 to 1996.
Naomi Levin-Hein earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Graphics from the University of Iowa between 1991 and 1996. In addition to their formal education, Naomi has obtained several certifications, including the Ascent Leadership Program from Women Lead Change (obtained in 2020), the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) 500-550 from The Institutes (obtained in 2019), and the Architecting on AWS certification from ExitCertified (Tech Data) (obtained in 2016).
