Shane Oakerson

Shane Oakerson is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Cirrus Logic since February 2022, Shane previously held the same position at Kendra Scott from October 2019 to January 2022. Prior to that, Shane worked as a Property Accountant at American Campus Communities from May 2016 to October 2019 and began the accounting career as an Audit Associate at BDO USA, LLP from October 2014 to May 2016, following a similar role at Briggs & Veselka Co. Shane's accounting experience started with an internship at Briggs & Veselka Co. in early 2013. Before entering the accounting field, Shane served as an Aerospace Maintenance Journeyman in the United States Air Force from April 2006 to April 2010. Shane holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University, completed between 2011 and 2013.
