Simon Trimmer

Simon Trimmer is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Cirrus Logic, specializing in the design and development of Linux Kernel device drivers and core system components for Linux and Android since May 2015. Previously, Simon served as Lead Engineer at Tamome Ltd, where responsibilities included delivering software for programmatic buying in mobile advertising and supporting strategic planning. Simon's career also includes roles at Accenture as a System Specialist/Technology Architect, where technical leadership and system architecture were key, and Nokia as a Principal Technology Architect focused on hardware adaptation in Symbian System Software. Early in the career, Simon gained experience at Symbian, VERITAS Software, and The Santa Cruz Operation, acquiring a solid foundation in software engineering and operating systems. Simon holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of South Wales and an MEng in Computer Systems Engineering from Bangor University.
