David A. Jones

David A. Jones has a long history of experience in the technology industry. David A. began their career in 1989 as a Network Monitoring & Information System Security Research Engineer at Bell-Northern Research. In 1999, they moved to Quest Software as a Product Manager. In 2002, they founded Virtue Software Inc. as a Product Architect. Then, in 2004, they joined Cloakware / Irdeto as a Senior Application Security Engineer, where they were an expert in Application Security obfuscation tools such as Cloakware XCODE Transcoder, Packers, OpenCL, Trustonic Trust Zone (Trusted Execution Environment)TEE, GPU, and Virtual Execution Machines using Application Security Techniques. David A. also invented a method and system for dynamic platform security in a device operating system PCT/CA230111050135. In 2014, they moved to Synopsys/Elliptic Technologies as a Sr. Field Application Security Engineer. Finally, in 2020, they joined CIS Mobile as a Sr. Platform Security Engineer.

David A. Jones attended Ohio University from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a B.Sc in Computer Information Systems.
