Jay Higdon

Jay Higdon is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as the Head of Corporate Legal at Cisco since March 2021, leading a 10-person team and advising executives and the Board of Directors on corporate and securities laws. Previously, Jay held several roles at Cooley LLP, including Senior Corporate Counsel and Principal Corporate Counsel, with a focus on technology and life science sectors. Jay’s early career includes experience as an Associate Attorney at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, co-founding and managing hosting service providers, and serving in law enforcement roles. Jay earned a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma.
