John Wegand

John Wegand has a strong background in software engineering. John started their career at Aerotek in 2010 as a Software Engineer. John then joined Exelis in 2011, where they worked as a Software Engineer until 2012. Following that, John joined Cision in 2012 and held multiple positions, including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, and most recently, Senior Staff Software Engineer. Throughout their roles at Cision, they worked on various projects involving Java Vertx microservices, using technologies such as Elasticsearch, PSQL, and MySQL. John also gained leadership experience by leading a team of developers. John's tenure at Cision is ongoing.

John Wegand earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland between 2006 and 2010.
