Kunaal Vaghela has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Kunaal started their career at Risk Decisions Ltd in 2005, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Kunaal was involved in project-based design, development, and testing of ad-hoc solutions. Later, they conducted research and prototyped a JEE application that went into production after three years of development. In 2008, Kunaal was promoted to the position of Senior Software Development Manager at Risk Decisions Ltd. In this role, they led the development of Risk Controller, a highly available application that provided real-time analysis for project success likelihood. Kunaal also handled recruitment and mentored junior developers.
In 2012, Kunaal joined the Home Office as a Java Developer. Kunaal'sresponsibilities included developing the Schengen Information System II, a Spring-based application that connected EU-wide information to improve policing and border patrol in the UK. Kunaal worked with technologies such as the Police National Computer, ANPR, Borders Agency, NCA, and Sirene Bureau. Kunaal remained with the Home Office until 2014.
Since 2014, Kunaal has been working at Cision in multiple roles. Kunaal started as a Solution Architect and Technical Dev Team Lead, responsible for architecting solutions and leading the development team. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Enterprise Architect, contributing to the company's overall enterprise architecture. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Engineer at Cision, utilizing their technical expertise to drive software development initiatives.
Kunaal Vaghela attended the University of Nottingham from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
