Sarah Zirkelbach has extensive work experience in sales and business development. Sarah began their career at Cision in 2006 as a Sales Assistant, where they gained valuable experience in customer service and support. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as an Account Manager, managing client relationships and ensuring their needs were met. Sarah then transitioned to the role of Senior Account Manager from 2010 to 2014, where they further developed their skills in client management and strategic planning.
In 2014, Sarah took on the role of Sales Team Lead, where they coached and supported a team of four members, focusing on improving interdepartmental communication and training to help the team achieve their objectives. The following year, they were promoted to Manager of the Key Sales West Team, where they successfully recruited and developed sales professionals to build relationships with new small business clients. Sarah also created and reinforced training programs, preparing their team for higher-level sales responsibilities.
Since 2016, Sarah has been working as a Business Development Executive at Cision, where they help communications and marketing professionals connect their public relations strategies to corporate business objectives. Sarah shares their decade of insights and best practices to help clients achieve their communications goals in a changing media landscape. Sarah also builds new relationships and collaborates with professionals from small and large businesses.
In addition to their work at Cision, Sarah had internships at Public Communications Inc. and Skirt Public Relations in 2006. These experiences provided their with valuable exposure to the public relations industry. Overall, Sarah has a proven track record of success in sales, leadership, and project management.
Sarah (Gabanski) Zirkelbach attended DePaul University from 2002 to 2006, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
