Alexandre Ventura has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Alexandre began their career as a Technology and Support Analyst at Embratel, where they focused on optical ring deployment and configuration of Cisco routers and switches. Alexandre then joined Editora da Unicamp as a Senior System Analyst & Network Administrator, where they worked until 2010.
In 2010, Alexandre moved to Onzo Ltd. as a DevOps, responsible for server consolidation and virtualization using various technologies, as well as automating administrative tasks. Alexandre worked there until 2012 when they joined TMX Atrium as a Linux System Administrator, specializing in virtualization and DNS management.
From 2014 to 2017, Alexandre worked at Liquid Capital Group as a Senior Linux System Engineer, focusing on low-latency server tuning, exchange connectivity, and algorithmic trading. Alexandre then joined Man AHL as a Senior Linux DevOps Engineer, where they specialized in configuration management, cloud orchestration, and distributed computing.
Currently, Alexandre works at Citadel Securities as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer.
Alexandre Ventura completed their education at two different universities. Alexandre graduated from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho in 2008 with a degree in Computer Science. Then, in 2010, they pursued a post-graduate degree in Business Management and Strategy from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
In addition to their degrees, Alexandre has obtained several certifications. Alexandre became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) in May 2013, a VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in December 2012, and a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) in December 2011.
