Bart Sevenster

Bart Sevenster has a diverse work experience starting with their current position as an Algorithmic Trader at Citadel Securities, which began in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at IMC - Financial Markets where they held the roles of Trader from August 2019 to September 2021, and Junior Trader from August 2018 to August 2019. Bart also has a background in academia, having worked as a PHD Student at Universiteit van Amsterdam from July 2014 to June 2018, where they conducted research in Algebra and Combinatorics and successfully defended their thesis. Bart also had a role as a Student Assistant at the same university from 2013 to 2014.

Bart Sevenster completed their education in Mathematics starting with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Amsterdam, which they obtained between 2008 and 2012. Bart then pursued further studies in the same field and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the University of Amsterdam, graduating between 2012 and 2014. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2017.
