Josh Hunter

Josh Hunter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Josh is currently serving as the Global Market Data Lead at Citadel Securities since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at XR Trading for over five years, starting as a Team Lead in December 2015 and leaving in January 2021. Before that, they held the position of Group Manager at Trading Technologies from January 2008 to December 2015. Josh also worked as a Technical Director at Electronic Arts from July 2005 to November 2007. Josh began their career as a Lead Programmer at Hypnotix in November 2001, where they contributed to the development of multiple games until July 2005 when Hypnotix was acquired by EA Tiburon. Lastly, they worked as a Software Engineer at Merit Industries from October 1999 to November 2001.

Josh Hunter completed their education starting from 1996 to 1998 at the Indiana Institute of Technology, where they obtained a BSCS degree in Computer Science. Josh then enrolled at Northwestern University from 2009 to 2012 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. From 2012 to 2015, Josh attended the University of Chicago, where they pursued a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics.
