Saul Toscano Palmerin has a strong background in quantitative research and data science. Saul currently works at Citadel Securities as a Quantitative Researcher, starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they were an Applied Scientist at Microsoft from February 2020 to September 2020. Saul also has experience in the finance industry, having completed a Quant Research Internship at Two Sigma in 2019. In addition, they have worked as a Data Scientist Intern at Uber from June 2016 to June 2017, where they played a lead role in the redesign of Uber's pricing system. Saul's earlier experience includes a research assistant position at The Fields Institute For Research In Mathematical Sciences in 2012, where they focused on studying financial crises. Overall, Saul has a diverse range of experience in quantitative research, data science, and finance.

Saul Toscano Palmerin received their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Universidad de Guanajuato between the years 2008 and 2013. Saul then pursued their education further at Cornell University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Operations Research and Information Engineering. This educational journey took place from 2013 to 2019.
