Srihita Vatsavaya has a strong background in quantitative research and software engineering. Srihita began their career as a Summer Intern at Mueser Rutledge Consulting Engineers, where they developed an automated computation interface for structural design and worked on various projects, including the analysis and design of a coffer dam and a high rise construction in Manhattan.
Srihita then gained experience at Citadel LLC as a Software Engineering Intern, where they focused on equities market making. Later, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Srihita worked on a research project related to the C++ Standard Library.
Following this, they returned to Citadel LLC as a Quantitative Research Intern and then joined Citadel Securities as a Quantitative Researcher. Currently, they are working in a research role at Citadel Securities. Throughout their career, Srihita has also served as the Head Teaching Assistant for Algorithms at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Srihita Vatsavaya completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal in 2010. Srihita then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Structural Engineering - Scientific Computing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing it from 2014 to 2016. In 2017 and 2018, they furthered their education at the same university, earning another Master of Science (M.S.) degree, this time in Computer Science. Prior to their university studies, Srihita attended FIITJEE from 2008 to 2010, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned.
