Viktor Hermann has worked in various roles and companies since 2017. Viktor started their career as a Legal Intern at Homburger in January 2017 and later took on a Summer Legal Internship at Baker McKenzie in July 2017. In September 2017, Viktor worked as an Associate Consultant at Simon-Kucher & Partners. In 2018, they interned at BNP Paribas and Citi, focusing on Investment Banking in both roles. In September to November 2018, Viktor worked as a Joint Proseminar Researcher at T. Rowe Price in collaboration with MIT Sloan. In January to February 2019, they participated in a Joint Research Practicum at Quantbot Technologies LP and MIT Sloan. Throughout 2019, Viktor served as a Private Equity Intern at BlackRock and as a Teaching Assistant for Financial Data Science and Computing I & II at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently, they work as an Equity Options Analyst at Citadel Securities, starting in March 2020.
Viktor Hermann completed their Master's degree in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law and Economics from the University of St.Gallen, which they completed in the years 2014 to 2017. During their time at St.Gallen, they also participated in an exchange semester at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management in 2016, focusing on Management Sciences. Additionally, Viktor spent the academic year 2013 to 2014 studying Business Law at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Apart from their educational qualifications, they obtained the Series 57 certification from FINRA in July 2020 and the SIE certification, also from FINRA, in June 2020.
