Won Young Jung (Won)

Won Young (Won) Jung has a diverse range of work experience. Won Young (Won) is currently working as a Site Reliability Engineer at Citadel Securities since July 2022. Prior to this, they were a Technology Associate at Morgan Stanley from August 2020 to June 2022. Won also worked at Morgan Stanley as a Technology Summer Analyst in June to August 2019. Won Young (Won) gained experience as a Backend Developer in the Product Delivery Team at Serai from February to May 2019. Won also served as an Industrial Placement Trainee at HSBC in the Growth & Innovation, Technology department from August 2018 to January 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Web Development Intern at Application Technology Company Limited in December 2017 to January 2018. Won started their professional journey as a Sergeant in the Republic of Korea Army from October 2015 to July 2017.

Won Young (Won) Jung completed their high school education at the Shanghai Singapore International School from 2003 to 2014. Won Young (Won) then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2014 to 2020. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in a Summer Semester program at Sungkyunkwan University in 2018, focusing on Computer Science.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Won enrolled in The University of Hong Kong, where they received a Master of Science in Computer Science, specifically in the field of Financial Computing, from 2022 to 2025. Additionally, in June 2019, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
