Yifeng Qi

Yifeng Qi has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Yifeng is currently working as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Securities since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from February 2017 to December 2021.

In 2021, Yifeng worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Facebook, where they focused on developing an EfficientNet-AutoML framework for deep-personalization ML production model optimization.

Before joining Facebook, they worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Science and Technology of China from September 2015 to June 2016. Additionally, they briefly served as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles from July 2015 to September 2015.

Yifeng Qi's education history begins with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, which they completed between 2012 and 2016. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in a summer session at UCLA in 2015. Afterward, Yifeng went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational Biophysics/Theoretical Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Yifeng completed their PhD between 2016 and 2021.
