Lizzy Keys has extensive work experience in various roles throughout their career. Lizzy began their career as a Student at the University of Leeds from September 2011 to July 2014. Following that, they worked as a Government Account Manager at Brook Street from September 2014 to January 2017, where they managed recruitment and temporary workers for key government accounts. Lizzy then joined CITB as an Apprenticeship Officer in January 2017, responsible for managing apprenticeships for the construction industry training board within the West Yorkshire region. In this role, they effectively organized and managed a caseload of 100+ apprentices and a region. Lizzy moved on to London South Bank University in February 2021 as an Apprenticeship Skills Coach for the School of The Built Environment & Architecture, providing support and guidance to apprentices. Lizzy then became the Head of Apprentice Support (Progression) at Ashridge Executive Education, Hult International Business School from December 2021 to April 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Apprenticeship Development Manager at CITB, starting in April 2023. Through their various roles, Lizzy has demonstrated strong organizational skills, effective management of apprenticeships, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Lizzy Keys started their education journey in 2003 at Watford Grammar School for Girls, where they completed their GCSEs over a period of five years until 2008. Following that, from 2008 to 2010, Lizzy attended Tring School, focusing on A Levels, specifically English Literature, Government and Politics, and Sociology. After completing their A Levels, Lizzy took a gap year before enrolling in the University of Leeds in 2011. Lizzy pursued a Bachelor's Degree in BA Hons Sociology and graduated from the university in 2014.

In 2016, Lizzy decided to further their education and enrolled in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) to enhance their knowledge and skills in Human Resources (HR) Practice. Lizzy completed the program in 2017.
