Johannes Bunes

Johannes Bunes has extensive work experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically in the areas of electrical, instruments, controls, and telecommunications. Johannes has held various roles throughout their career, including Manager at Eurocon Automation AS, Lead Instrument Engineer at Citec Group, Senior Instrument Engineer at Aragon, and Instrument & Controls Lead in the Life Extension Department at BW Offshore. Additionally, they have worked as the EICT Lead on projects for BG-Group (now Shell), IAS Lead at Golar LNG, and EIT Lead at Frontline FPSO / SeaProduction Management. Bunes also worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Bergesen d.y. ASA / BW-Offshore and as a Senior Instruments & Control Engineer at ABB Industries. Johannes began their career as a Senior Design and Commissioning Engineer at Statoil Norway and Statoil Germany.

Johannes Bunes obtained an Engineer degree in Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls from NKI, where they studied from 1979 to 1982. In addition to their formal education, they also acquired a certification in Basic Safety Training for Offshore from Falck Nutec Norway, which was obtained in January 2015.
