Thomas Bergroth

Thomas Bergroth has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Thomas is currently serving as the Chief Design Engineer at Citec Group since February 2021. Previously, they worked as an Engineering Manager at ARNON. Art of Automation from January 2018 to February 2021. Prior to that, Thomas held multiple roles at Wärtsilä, including Technical Product Manager gas engine controls & systems, Chief Engineer, and Senior Design Engineer/Design Engineer. Their responsibilities included managing and coordinating gas engine control system development, administering and analyzing order intake, working on requirement elicitation and management, conducting FMEA analysis, specifying engine functionality, and coordinating engine automation system projects. Before joining Wärtsilä, Thomas worked as a Design Engineer at Citec Engineering Oy.

Thomas Bergroth obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from Novia University of Applied Sciences from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Electrotechnology - Automation technology from Novia University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 2003.
