Superintendent - Electrical Protection at CITIC Pacific Mining

Lily Zhang is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in electrical protection and power generation, currently serving as Superintendent at CITIC Pacific Mining since March 2016. In this role, Lily Zhang focuses on technical optimization to enhance the reliability of isolated power networks and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in a high voltage iron ore mining environment. Prior to this position, Lily Zhang was a Senior Electrical Engineer at Jiangsu Ligang Electric Power Co., Ltd., where responsibilities included calculating relay settings for electrical systems ranging from 415V to 500KV, designing electrical control and protection circuits, and developing commissioning procedures. Lily Zhang began a career in the field as an Electrical and Electrical Technician, conducting annual inspections and fault finding. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Systems and Automation from North China Electric Power University.
