Andy Froemke is a seasoned screenwriter with extensive experience in film and television, currently serving as a WGA screenwriter for Citizen Skull Productions since December 2022. Froemke's screenplay adaptation of Deborah Jiang-Stein's memoir, "Prison Baby," is in development with Rikshaw Films, alongside the project "Steal Away," based on Robert Smalls' historic escape, being developed at Amazon Studios with acclaimed director Charles Burnett attached. Previous roles include mentoring graduate students at Augsburg University, teaching screenwriting at The Loft Literary Center, and creating the short film "Song Without Words." Froemke's notable past positions include a screenwriting residency at IFP MN/Knight Foundation and contributions to various film projects, including directing and editing work on "A River Runs Through It." Froemke holds a Bachelor of Science in Media and Theatre Arts from Montana State University-Bozeman.
