Armen Mkrtchian

Armen Mkrtchian has extensive experience in iOS development, starting in 2011 as an Independent iOS Developer. Armen then worked as an iOS Developer at Sourcio CJSC from December 2012 to March 2014. From April 2014 to April 2015, they served as the Head of Mobile at BigBrain LLC.

In 2015, Armen joined Science Inc., where they worked as a Senior iOS Developer. Their responsibilities included leading mobile development and design and mentoring junior/mid-level developers. Armen also collaborated with design, business, and developer teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

From October 2015 to April 2017, Armen held the position of Senior Mobile (iOS/Android) Developer at FR8Star. Armen was responsible for developing native apps on iOS and Android platforms and implemented features such as offline mode, 3D touch, and Siri Kit integration.

Armen then joined Sendtask in May 2017 as a Senior Mobile (iOS/Android) Developer. Armen played a pivotal role in aggregating and tracking tasks in one place through native apps on iOS and Android platforms. Armen achieved significant milestones, including offline mode implementation and synchronization of 25,000 records in under 5 seconds.

From July 2018 to October 2020, Armen worked as the Lead iOS Developer at Joist, where they led iOS development projects. Armen then joined Y Media Labs in November 2020 as the Lead iOS Developer.

Armen's most recent position is with Citizen, where they started in April 2021 as an iOS Engineer and, subsequently, became the iOS Team Lead in August 2022.

Armen Mkrtchian pursued their education at Yerevan State University from 2004 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.
