Julia Hiser

Julia Hiser is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and leadership roles within the Citizens of the World Charter Schools and Valley Charter School. Currently serving as a Math Interventionist and Lead Teacher for third grade at Citizens of the World Charter Schools since August 2019, Julia has also held leadership positions such as mentor teacher and member of the Math Instructional Leadership Team. Prior experience includes serving as a Lead Teacher for second grade at Valley Charter School and as a Lead Teacher for first grade at Citizens of the World, where Julia facilitated staff trainings and parent workshops. Julia's educational qualifications include a Master of Education from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Feminist Studies and Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
