Sejal Gunness, Ph.D.

Sejal Gunness, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as a Medical Writer at The Curry Rockefeller Group, LLC since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Medical Communication Writer at sixsense strategy group from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, Sejal served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at CAMH, conducting research in their field of expertise. Sejal also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from 2017 to 2018. In 2014, they completed a Gene Ontology Internship at the European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI. Sejal Gunness, Ph.D., has an extensive education history in the field of neuroscience and bioinformatics. Sejal completed their Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto from 2004 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science in Molecular Genetics at UCL from 2010 to 2011. Subsequently, they broadened their expertise by attending Seneca College from 2012 to 2013 to complete a Bioinformatics Post Graduate Program. Finally, Sejal Gunness obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto between 2014 and 2019.
