Marcelo Belão has a diverse work experience spanning over different industries and roles. Marcelo began their career at Siemens Enterprise Communications in 2000, working as a Técnico em Eletrônica until 2003, and then transitioned into the role of Engenheiro de Desenvolvimento until 2006. At Siemens, they gained experience in electronics and development.
From 2006 to 2013, Marcelo worked for the Des. Paulo Feitoza Foundation as a Development Coordinator and later as a Development Engineer. During this time, they coordinated various software and hardware projects, specializing in automation, embedded systems, computer vision, telecommunications, and accessibility for people with disabilities. Marcelo led projects in areas such as computer vision, augmented reality, home and industrial automation, and embedded systems.

Marcelo worked with various technologies including ARM Cortex platform, Altium Designer, CAN bus, Ethernet, LoRaWAN, and NFC. Marcelo developed drivers and applications in embedded Linux and also analyzed IEC/NBR standards for uninterruptible power products.
Throughout their career, Marcelo has demonstrated their expertise in development, coordination, and project management. Marcelo has experience working with multidisciplinary teams and has a strong understanding of Scrum and ISO 9001 processes.
Marcelo Belão, PMP, CSM has a strong educational background in the fields of Electronics/Telecommunications and Digital Television. Marcelo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Federal University of Technology - Parana, where they specialized in Electronics/Telecommunications from 1996 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed a technical degree in Electronics at the same institution from 1992 to 1995.
