Andria Tupola

Andria Tupola is a current Honolulu City Councilmember representing District 1, which experienced a 20% population growth according to the 2020 census. In addition to this role, Andria serves as an independent consultant for political candidates and organizations through Hawaii Leadership Solutions, LLC. As the President of Empower Hawaii Foundation, initiatives focus on community engagement through collaborative projects. Previous experience includes serving as the Executive Director of Operations for S&G Labs of Hawaii, Executive Director at Project Vision Hawai'i, and State Representative, with a candidacy for Governor of Hawaii. Andria has a strong academic background in music education, holding a Ph.D. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where teaching roles also included professor roles at Leeward Community College and University of Hawaii-West Oahu, as well as choral instruction at Kamehameha Schools.
