Paula Florence

Paula Florence is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting across various city departments. Currently serving as Accounting Manager for the City and County of San Francisco since December 2016, Paula oversees internal and external audits, financial reporting, and analytics for over 25 departments. Previously, Paula held roles including Capital Projects & Grants Accounting Manager at the MTA, Accounting Services Manager at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, and Director of Finance and Information Technology at the Kitsap County Consolidated Housing Authority. Paula began their career as Shareholder & Tax Manager at Allen, Nelson, Turner & Company, CPA's. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Portland State University.
