Sharon Hughes has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, specializing in retirement plans. Sharon started their career as a Marketing Director at Bank of Danville in 1981, and later worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Charleston. In 1995, they became an Office Manager at ABD Financial Services. From 1998 to 2001, they served as a Pension Administrator at Jackson & Kelly, PLLC, managing 80 qualified retirement plans. Sharon then joined Huntington National Bank as a Vice President-Regional Manager, overseeing qualified retirement plans in West Virginia. In 2007, they joined City National Bank as a Vice President, responsible for managing and administering retirement plans. Throughout their career, Sharon has demonstrated strong skills in plan design, administration, and compliance.
Sharon Hughes completed their Associate in Science degree in Business from the University of Charleston from 1988 to 1991. Sharon then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Wheeling University between 1995 and 1997. Following that, they enrolled in Mountain State University from 2000 to 2003 to obtain their Master's degree in Strategic Leadership.
