Cathelijn Kok

Cathelijn Kok has extensive work experience in legal and corporate roles. Cathelijn is currently working as the General Counsel at City ID since April 2022. Previously, they worked at Morgan Stanley from June 2011 to March 2022, where they were the Legal Counsel and headed the legal and corporate secretarial department for NHP Investments. Prior to that, they were a Director at VISTRA Netherlands from April 2007 to May 2011, where they were involved in the launch of the company. Cathelijn also served as a Team Manager at MeesPierson Intertrust from October 2002 to March 2007, servicing a francophone client base. Additionally, they worked as a Sr Gerechtssecretaris Ondernemingskamer (Clerk at the Enterprise Division) at Gerechtshof Amsterdam from October 2001 to October 2002.

Cathelijn Kok began their education in 1981 at Ecole Européenne de Luxembourg, where they obtained their European Baccalaureate degree in 1994. In 1995, they enrolled at Leiden University, completing their Master of Laws (LLM) in Dutch Civil Law in 2001. In 1999, Cathelijn briefly attended the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), and then proceeded to study Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam from 2003 to 2005.
