Jill McBrayer Oakley has served as the Albertville City Councilwoman Place 2 since November 2012, where responsibilities include chairing the Community Enhancements committee overseeing Parks & Recreation, the Library, the Senior Center, the Museum, and various community initiatives. Additionally, Jill participates in Economic Development and City Infrastructure efforts. Jill holds the title of Certified Municipal Official Emeritus with the Alabama League of Municipalities, completing extensive training in municipal governance. Furthermore, Jill is appointed to the Committee on Energy, Environment and Natural Resources, focusing on policy development related to environmental issues. Prior experience includes instruction in Anatomy & Physiology at Snead State Community College and quality control at Gold Kist Inc. Jill earned a Master's degree in Biology/Chemistry from Samford University from 1982 to 1986.
