Jason Shaw

Jason Shaw, CPA, currently serves as Deputy City Controller for the City of Albuquerque since May 2019, where Jason has also held roles as Associate Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Principal Accountant, and Principal Accountant. Prior to this, Jason Shaw gained experience as a Senior Accountant at CliftonLarsonAllen and as Principal Accountant for a brief period at the City of Albuquerque. Jason's background includes contracting as an Auditor at Sandia National Laboratories and working as a Senior Principal Accountant and Principal Accountant for the City of Albuquerque. Earlier career experience includes a senior associate role at Clifton Gunderson LLP and a senior accountant position at Meyners + Company. Jason Shaw holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, earned between 2003 and 2008.
