Monica Mitchell

Monica Mitchell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing and economic development. Currently serving as the Deputy Director and Senior Economic Developer at the City of Albuquerque since August 2019, Monica also works as a Marketing and Communications Specialist for various clients since May 2018. Previously, Monica held several leadership positions at Transamerica Retirement Solutions from September 2003 to April 2018, including Director of Channel Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager. Monica earned an M.B.A. in International Business from the UNM Anderson School of Management in 2002 and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and General Business Management from the same institution in 2001.
