Mike McLaughlin

Mike McLaughlin is an experienced transportation professional currently serving as the State Safety Oversight Regional Manager at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held the position of Superintendent of Transportation at Alstom for one year, and worked at BOMBARDIER for nearly two decades, progressing from Rail Traffic Controller and Light Rail Vehicle Operator to Assistant Superintendent of Transportation and Supervisor of Train Operations. Mike's expertise includes ensuring the safe and efficient movement of scheduled trains, managing railroad personnel, and maintaining effective separation of light rail vehicles and freight trains. Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Lehigh University, completing studies in 2002.
