Michael McDermott, CISSP, PCNSA, is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in security administration and network management. Currently serving as a Security Administrator for the City of Allen since September 2011, Michael transitioned to this role after a promotion from Systems Administrator, focusing on supporting various Parks & Recreation facilities. In addition, Michael is the Owner of McDermott Networking LLC, an enterprise established in January 2006. Previous experience includes positions as Network Administrator for multiple companies, such as Planet E Shop, Randy White Telecommunications, and Ideal Health, all from January 2000 to January 2006, and as an IT professional at Harding Company until April 2013. Early in Michael's career, experience also included string instrument repair at Brook Mays Music and producing live traffic reports for Traffic Patrol Broadcasting.
