Brandt Johnson, MPA, has a diverse background in public administration and community development, currently serving as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Ankeny since August 2022. Prior roles include Management Analyst in the City of River Falls, Government Relations Coordinator for the City of Des Moines, and various positions within the City of River Falls, highlighting a strong commitment to local government operations. Additional experience includes roles such as Zoning Administrator/Planner in Windsor Heights and Planning & Economic Development Services Intern in Norwalk, Iowa. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Drake University and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Political Science and Government, as well as History from The University of Kansas, complemented by international studies in European History and Political Science at Radboud University.
