Eric C. Jensen

Eric C. Jensen has extensive experience in community development and planning, serving as the Director of Community Development for the City of Ankeny since May 2006, with previous roles including Assistant Director of Planning and Building and Development Administrator. Additionally, Eric has contributed to academia as a Lecturer in the Community and Regional Planning Department at Iowa State University since April 2000, teaching courses such as Site Analysis and Studio II. Prior planning positions include Planner and Project Manager at Civil Design Advantage, Planner roles in cities including Ames, West Des Moines, and Kansas City, as well as an internship in Ames. Eric holds both a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Iowa State University.
