Dana Williams is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various municipal and consulting roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accounting Manager for the City of Atlanta since August 2016, Dana has excelled as a liaison between the General Accounting Team and the Accounts Payable Division, specializing in account reconciliation for Accounts Payable and Payroll. Previously, Dana held the position of Lead Accountant - Acting Utility Manager for the City of Union City, where responsibilities included financial report analysis, auditing, and utility billing management. Additional experience includes roles as an Accountant/Financial Analyst in a self-owned consulting business, Accounting & Compliance Manager for the Macon-Bibb County Workforce Investment Board, and Grants and Project Accountant for the City of Macon. Dana holds an MBA in Accounting Information Systems from the New York Institute of Technology and a BBA in Accounting from Savannah State University.
