Mike English

Mike English, CPA, MSA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Mike is currently the Finance Director at the City of Aubrey since June 2021. Prior to this, they were self-employed as a CFO and CFO Advisory Partner from October 2017 to October 2021, where they also served as an Interim CFO for Legacy Education Alliance, Inc. in Cape Coral, FL. Before that, Mike was the CFO of ZixCorp, a leader in email security, from June 2007 to July 2016. Mike also held the position of VP Finance at Advance Fibre Communications from 2003 to 2005, and at Marconi from 1999 to 2004. Mike started their career as a Division Controller at RELTEC Access Division from 1997 to 1999, and at Reliance Electric Company from 1991 to 1997.

Mike English, CPA, MSA completed a Master of Science in Accountancy degree at DePaul Driehaus College of Business from 1979 to 1980. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from John Carroll University, where they studied from 1974 to 1978.
