Sara Morris, MBA, PHR has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role being the Director of Human Resources at the City of Beacon since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Intermunicipal HR Director for the Town of East Fishkill and Town of Wappinger from August 2020 to March 2022. Sara also worked as the Deputy Director of Human Resources for Sullivan County NY Government from October 2017 to April 2020. Sara held the position of Senior Manager, Human Resources at ACC of NYC from April 2012 to September 2017. Before that, Sara was the Human Resources Manager at Norampac Industries, Inc. from February 2008 to April 2012. Sara'scareer in human resources began as an Applications Technician at Balchem Corporation from 2002 to 2005.

Sara Morris, MBA, PHR, has a diverse and extensive education history. Sara began their educational journey in 2000 with a summer study program at Harvard University. In 2002, they enrolled at Mount Saint Mary College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General, completing their studies in 2005. Following this, Sara attended SUNY New Paltz from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a field of study in Human Resource Management (HRM).

In addition to their formal education, Sara has also obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in August 2019. This certification further enhances their expertise and knowledge in the field of human resources.
