Artemis Zafari

Artemis Zafari began their work experience in 2017 as a Sales Support role at Nordstrom. They then joined UW Concrete Canoe as a Team Member in September 2018. In June 2018, they started working as a Civil Engineer Intern at R.B. Engineers, where they developed an automated Excel program and analyzed wind and earthquake forces for building designs. From June 2019 to June 2020, Artemis worked as a Civil Engineer Intern at Seattle Public Utilities, where they designed sewer rehabilitation projects and utilized GIS tools and AutoCAD. From August 2020 to February 2022, Artemis worked as a Civil Engineer at Gray & Osborne, providing engineering services for capital improvement projects and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders. Currently, Artemis is employed as a Construction Engineer at the City of Bellevue, Washington, where they support the delivery of Utilities' Capital Improvement Projects and are responsible for a variety of engineering and construction management duties.

Artemis Zafari attended Mercer Island High School from 2012 to 2016. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Washington from 2016 to 2020.
