Brooke Brod

Brooke Brod has extensive work experience in community engagement, advocacy, and organizing. Brooke started their career as a Theatre Director, Educator, and Producer from 1998 to 2007. Then, they worked with various organizations, including Stand for Children and Obama for America, where they held leadership roles. At Stand for Children, Brooke served as the Organizing and Political Director from 2009 to 2012, leading community engagement and leadership development programs. At Obama for America, they were the Regional Field Director in 2008 and the State Field Director in Minnesota in 2012, successfully implementing voter contact programs and managing staff and volunteers. Brooke also worked as an Independent Campaign Manager and Consultant and as the Director of Community Engagement & Advocacy at Stand for Children from 2013 to 2019, where they developed innovative community organizing programs and trained organizers and executive directors.
