Andrés Portela III

Andrés Portela III has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Andrés is currently working as the Equity and Inclusion Director for the City of Bend. Prior to this, they served as the Health Equity Program Director for the Pima County Health Department and the Statewide Political Director for Mass Liberation AZ. Andrés has also held the position of Deputy Director of Organizing for the Arizona Coalition for Change | Our Voice Our Vote Arizona. In addition, Andrés has experience in politics as a candidate for Portela for Ward 6. Andrés has also worked for the City of Tucson as a Senior Policy Advisor, the Southwest Fair Housing Council as the Education, Outreach, and Media Director, TEDxTucson as the Marketing Director, and Tucson Hebrew Academy as the Marketing Coordinator. Prior to that, they served as the Public Relations Manager for McFadden/Gavender, Inc.

Andrés Portela III's education history includes several academic achievements and certifications. Andrés obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Resilient and sustainable communities from Prescott College in 2023.
