Galadriel Burr

Galadriel Burr is an experienced Community Services Specialist III with the City of Berkeley, currently managing seismic programs, including the Soft Story and Unreinforced Masonry programs, as well as the Exterior Elevated Elements (E3) Program and an Amnesty Program for unpermitted dwelling units. Previously, Galadriel held positions as a Specialist II and I, overseeing the Retrofit Grants Program and coordinating code enforcement for hazardous buildings. Prior experience includes serving as a GIS Analyst for the City of Santa Clara and Project Manager/Coordinator at CommUniverCity, where neighborhood surveys and data analysis for illegal dumping were conducted. Galadriel holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning/Environmental Planning from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Saint Mary’s College of California.
