Michael Barther

Michael Barther has extensive experience in code compliance and traffic engineering, currently serving as a Senior Code Compliance Officer and Certified Business Tax Officer for the City of Boca Raton since May 2011. Responsibilities include monitoring and enforcing local ordinances related to zoning, land use, and public safety, as well as providing resources and information to the community. In a prior role as a Traffic Engineering Signal Technician, Michael Barther specialized in the installation and maintenance of electronic traffic control equipment and provided emergency repair services. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Comcast Cable in a safety role. Michael Barther holds an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix and attended Ely from 1987 to 1990.
