Lauren Balisky

Lauren Balisky serves as the Planning Manager for the City of Bonney Lake since May 2024, previously holding the position of Community & Economic Development Director for the City of Edgewood from January 2023 to May 2024. Balisky has extensive planning experience, having worked as Planning Manager for the City of Mukilteo and as an Interim City Planner in Brier, alongside other positions in local government. Volunteer contributions include significant roles with the Northwest Washington Incident Management Team, where Balisky served as Planning Section Chief during various emergency deployments across multiple counties. Educational background includes a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from Western Washington University.
